The Apple Pencil (USB-C) is the most affordable and broadly compatible stylus in Apple's lineup, designed primarily for note-taking, sketching, and marking up documents. It is compatible with most iPads that feature a USB-C port, including the iPad (10th generation) and several models of iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad mini. 
Features and capabilities
  • Charging and pairing: The USB-C Pencil pairs and charges by connecting a USB-C cable to a port on the end of the stylus, which is revealed by a sliding cap. It does not charge wirelessly from the iPad.
  • Magnetic attachment: It can attach magnetically to the side of a compatible iPad for storage. When attached, it goes into a low-power mode, but it does not charge wirelessly.
  • Precision and tilt sensitivity: The USB-C model offers excellent pixel-perfect precision, low latency, and tilt sensitivity for shading, providing a natural and responsive feel.
  • Apple Pencil Hover: It supports the Apple Pencil Hover feature on compatible iPad Pro and iPad Air models, which allows you to preview a mark before you make it.
